Singapore Office Secretaries Full time

Responsible for accounting duties such as billing, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and tax reporting, etc. under the supervision of the Director of Accounting. The role needs to work closely with the Accounting team in Hong Kong and the U.S.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare bills with firm-wide accounting system (Elite 3E) and closely monitor client/matter activities
- Payroll preparation, including calculation and submission of salary tax returns
- Filing of GST returns
- Handle expense reimbursements and suppliers’ payments using the firm-wide reimbursement and payment system (Chrome River)
- Cash management and funding
- Handle collection of outstanding bills and monitor receipt status
- Handle various tax and CPF registration and submission
- Participate in annual audit of the Singapore office
- Coordinate new matter opening and conflict search where necessary
- Provide assistance in preparing operation expenses budget
- Any other ad hoc duties

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/degree in Accounts disciplines
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience with law firm background is preferred
- Knowledge in Elite 3E and/or Chrome River is an advantage
- Good communication skills, both oral and written in English
- Detail-minded, reliable and able to work under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills
- The use of good judgment and good interpersonal communication skills
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
- The ability to work harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a team
- A self-starter who desires to show ownership and commitment to the job
- Exercises confidentiality and discretion
- Strong technological skills, including effective working knowledge of Excel
