- To attend site meetings and site walks with Client and Consultants as required
- To inspect and monitor quality of architectural finishing materials delivered to site, and quality of workmanship
- To carry out supervision and co-ordination of architectural works of the project and shall exercise all reasonable skill.
- To ensure timely submission of shop drawings, technical submittals, mock-up, and material samples by the contractors
- To supervise the execution of the construction works and ensure the works are carried out by the contractors in accordance with contract specifications and drawings, complying with quality and standards
- To monitor contractor’s site progress and performance, as well as maintain and update proper site records on progress of work and documentation
- To highlight any critical/major issues, discrepancies, feedback site progress and irregularities to Clients/Consultants
- To assist and co-ordinate with Consultants to resolve any technical or interfacing issues
- To ensure the contractors maintain safety, cleanliness and tidiness of the work site
- A good team player and experience in assisting Resident Engineer in supervision of works
- Conversant with local construction practices, codes & regulations
- A degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil & Structural Engineering or construction related field from university/ Polytechnic; with at least 8 years of such relevant practical experience in full-time supervision of architectural/ structural works in construction sites in Singapore
- Accredited Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES/ACES, with experience in managing Architectural works
- Possess good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, being responsible, meticulous and a good team player
- Expected to know the prevailing Building Control Act, Building Control Regulations, etc, and be conversant with all the requirements concerning supervision, quality control, reports and other documentation.
