Counsellor (Onsite)

We are searching for a skilled counsellor to help provide direction and support to one of our Corporate Clients and to Safe Space. You will actively help our client build coping mechanisms to guide them through stressful situations. Your duties will also include listening to clients, asking necessary questions, and developing effective strategies to improve their lives.

**Responsibilities**
- Assess clients through detailed conversations, interviews, and observations to determine the appropriate testing or examination.
- Create effective treatment plans that include counselling, or other services.
- Work with your client and develop goals.
- Regularly discuss the treatment plan with your client to identify faults or room for improvement.
- Educate appropriate coping mechanisms to help patients through tough situations.
- Record the patient’s progress and change their treatment plan when needed.
- Conduct group counselling/psycho-education sessions.
- Work with Safe Space Counselling Team and other necessary stakeholders on projects.
- Support with other general and project-related administrative and logistics duties.
- Provide advice, direction and aid on clinical matters to Safe Space.

**Requirements**:

- Masters in Psychology, social work, or counselling.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a professional counsellor.
- Registered as a Clinical Member of the SAC.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Language Needed: English language proficiency is required, Mother Tongue proficiency is preferred
- Aptitude to empathise with clients and help them open up.
- Good time management skills.
- Proven experience in developing effective treatment plans.
- Counsellor needs to be onsite at Client’s office in East Singapore.
- Able to travel to Safe Space office in Central Singapore whenever required.

- Salary Entitlement: S$3,500 to S$4,000 per month
- 14 days Annual Leave (will be prorated based on contract)
