As a Senior Strategic Investment Officer, you will lead the identification, development, implementation, and monitoring of DCS strategic investment portfolio within the applied risk parameters so as to achieve the agreed targeted wealth enhancements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and grow the portfolio so as to achieve the net targets as agreed in the business plan
- Plan, set and direct the business units to achieve the targets by providing strategic directions, leadership and motivation.
- Interact with peers at other institutions, senior people in various industries to keep up with trends that influence portfolio decisions.
- To achieve the portfolio and net profit contributing to the revenue of the organisation.
- Identification and development of M&A opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of policy and strategies for DCS’s developmental goals for the in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- Participate and contribute technical knowledge and experience in country teams of investment opportunities.
- To achieve the desired strategic intentions so for the purpose of DCS overall business aspiration be it market-entry opportunities either via a direct or partnership.

**Requirements**:

- Strong networks and relationships in the target markets that are of interest to DCS overall business strategy.
- At least 15 to 20 years of demonstrated ability in mergers and acquisition and familiar with the various investment and financial vehicles.
- A degree in finance or a relevant field from an accredited institution.
- Strong experience leading, supervising, and motivating a team of investment professionals.
- Strategic thinker and proficient in decision-making.
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
