**Job Description**:
H&M’s holistic sustainability work with all the actions, programs, projects, etc - along the entire value chain is essential to secure future business, growth and profit. In line with the global sustainability strategy and guidelines you - as a part of the global sustainability team - drive H&M’s sustainability work successfully on a local (sales market) level. You understand sustainability as a chance to foster business and innovative solutions. Together with the country organization you make sure that sustainability becomes a natural part of everyone’s work, as well as, the relevant local stakeholders, consumers and our customers perceive H&M as a sustainable company.

This role holds both operational and strategic responsibilities, working alongside the Regional Sustainability and Public Affairs Manager, you will support in driving engagement with Colleagues, Stakeholders, local communities, statutory and industry bodies.

**_ Key responsibilities:_**
**_Colleague Engagement_**
- Lead the work to motivate and inspire the internal organization through information on sustainability issues and involvement in sustainable actions, in line with the global sustainability strategy and global guidelines.
- Raise awareness and perception internally about sustainability at H&M. Make everyone a confident and proud ambassador to be able to engage with customers to drive the perception of H&M as a sustainable brand which ultimately drives sales.
- Collaborate meaningfully with local sales team, develop and implement a local colleague engagement plan and establish ways of internal communication channel. Identify and establish ways how to involve colleagues in sustainable actions and integrate sustainability in their daily work (e.g symbolic workplace action about waste management, garment collecting, construction and logistic material reuse, etc).

**_ Stakeholder Engagement_**
- Lead the work to engage with relevant external stakeholders, in line with the global sustainability strategy, global guidelines and the global stakeholder engagement plan. Synchronize with the Country Manager, PR and other relevant departments (global and local). Build long term relations with relevant stakeholders that will be third party ambassadors.
- Raise awareness and perception externally about sustainability at H&M.
- Ensure an overview on the relevant local stakeholders (e.g through mapping) and participate in external networks and forums to promote H&M’s sustainability work and leadership position, as well as build and maintain relations, keeping a pulse on local salesmarket’s development and focus on sustainability topics.

**_ Local Sustainability Initiatives_**
- Inline with global strategy and guidelines, adapt, setup, develop and implement locally relevant sustainability initiatives, synchronized with other relevant parts of the local sales organization.
- Act as speaking partner to Country Managers and Regional Sustainability & Public Affairs Manager in driving sustainability agenda for the market and provide the overview of all sustainability goals and progress.
- Support local organization in setting and following up sustainability goals and provide suggestion on necessary action as needed - challenge status quo and be the driver for initiative and innovative approaches.
- Be expert regarding all sustainability related questions, stay updated and informed on the latest internal and external sustainability developments.

- Appropriate formal education or certification in corporate, environmental and industrial sustainability.
- 2 years or more working experience in sustainability, environmental or related field.
