**This position reports to**:
Regional General Counsel
**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will be for independently reviewing contracts, procurement contracts, risk assessment of contracts in line with ABB corporate guidelines. You will have the opportunity to provide strategic legal counselling and upholds the highest standards of integrity within ABB, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. You will effectively manage legal risks and fosters a culture of integrity across the organization. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area of ABB, Singapore. You will be mainly accountable for: - Providing local legal support in Singapore for Electrification Business. - Independently reviewing and redlining of sales contracts, procurement Contracts, risk assessment of contracts in line with ABB corporate guidelines. - Providing internal training on contractual and integrity topics. - Integrity and the formulation, interpretation and implementation of ABB policies to ensure consistency and compliance applicable local laws. - Support in improvement or development of legal processes, due diligence and legal productivity, simplicity, and standardization, reflecting the country specific requirements. - Managing and coordinating litigation and employment disputes in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders. - Supporting ABB Integrity program and Integrity initiatives in close collaboration with the Corporate Counsel and Regional General Counsel.
**Qualifications for the role**:
- Legal degree from accredited law school with a demonstrated superior academic record
- You have an experience with internationally recognized law firm and/or multinational company.
- You are hands-on in business partnering and with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience in handling and coordinating litigation and employment dispute is preferred.
- Strong leadership capabilities particularly in coordinating with cross-functional and cross-country teams in complex transactions.
- Experience in negotiating regional master agreement is preferred.
- You are at least in communicating in English, including ability to draft and negotiate legal and corporate documents in English.
