To assist in the formation and development of Community Development Council in the CDC district, thereby promoting social cohesion, community bonding and racial harmony.

**Key duties and responsibilities that need to be performed to meet the primary objective of the job. This will include the important result areas (what) along with the rationale (why).
- Provide procurement, administrative and project management support:

- Assist in all procurement and administrative duties in relation to CDC’s projects, including providing all procurement-related support to internal stakeholders
- Work closely with both internal staff and People’s Association HQ Administration & Procurement Division on procurement-related matters
- Provide administrative support to assigned Council Standing Committee(s), and to ensure timely dissemination of information to advisers, council members, grassroots leaders and/or residents.
- Provide project management support to assigned CDC projects, including procurement matters and the management of project timelines and assisting the project manager-in-charge in all matters relating to the planning and execution of the projects
- Assist Managers in outreaching and engaging corporate partners, community partners and the community, including the engagement of residents on CDC matters
- Assist Managers in collating and maintaining databases of information relating to the assigned CDC projects under the CDC Casework Team
- Take down complaints and requests brought up by council members, CDC volunteers and residents for referral to the relevant authorities.
- Gather information and collates data from co-workers and grassroots leaders for compilation of reports for the CDC meeting as well as other regular and ad hoc reports required by People’s Association HQ and/or the Council.
- Liaise with council members to convey messages and reminds them to attend CDC meetings and functions as and when required.
- Works closely with the CARE Local Assistance Schemes processing team in preparation of the assistance payment schedules according to the timelines
- Preparation of Local Assistance Letters for the purpose of informing residents
- Triage and follow-up with Local Assistance Scheme applicants for supporting documents
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of applied assistance schemes for recommendation for higher approval.
