Purpose of the Role
The purpose of the role is to ensure alignment across the Digital Marketing Strategy and the Regional/Local digital initiatives with a focus on day-to-day interaction with our Asia/Pacific regions and markets. The Digital Account Manager will act as the gatekeeper for the Digital Marketing Team and the primary point of contact for the Regional/Local Marketing Teams.
**Key Accountabilities**:
Strategic Alignment and Lead Project Delivery
- Ensure that a balance is always made between the needs of the regions and the capability for Marketing & Innovation (M&I) to service the regions as needed - you will be both a voice for our region and our team. You will need to know how to connect the needs and demands of the business with the strategic direction we're setting out - having a strong commercial acumen is key to success in this role - knowing what the company needs to do in these regions to grow through digital marketing
- Liaise with Regional/Local Marketing Teams to ensure that all digital activities are aligned with the digital marketing strategic direction and coordinate the delivery of these projects with the internal Digital Marketing Specialist Teams.
Stakeholder Management and Governance
- Ensure that we are focused on delivering the projects with the greatest business benefit; where required escalate any deviations from the agreed plan to Senior Digital Marketing Lead.
- Day to day management of internal and external stakeholders to include Regional/Local Marketing team, the M&I leadership team and consultants/third party agencies.
Project & Platform Prioritisation and Resource Allocation
- Working with the Local markets, agree and prioritise Business as Usual (BAU), digital activities to be delivered by the M&I Digital Marketing Team; work with the Digital Marketing Team to ensure that we have the necessary resources to deliver to the agreed timelines
- Be a key contact for two key Group supported platforms: Magnolia (CMS) and Hubspot. You will receive necessary training so that you will be able to provide a ‘first layer’ of support in these platforms for our regions in their time zones
Communication
- Understand & address market requests, escalating important issues when needed.
- Keep regular meetings with internal teams to report back on progress
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years experience as a Digital Account Manager (or operating at this level) in a Digital Marketing Agency or within a non-Agency role, demonstrable experience managing, coordinating and facilitating services across departments and functions to internal stakeholders is essential to this role
- Demonstrated experience in delivering complex global programmes in a highly matrixed organisation.
- Proficiency in working with data, running reports and gathering insights
- Experienced in working with ambiguity in a fast-paced reactive environment.
- Hands-on digital marketing exposure with experience in several of the following areas:
- Experience in working with Medium/Enterprise level Content Management Systems
- Experience with working with Hubspot or similar CRM & Marketing automation platforms
- Building and maintaining a brand’s presence across multiple social media channels
- Measuring key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, service quotas, bounce rate and ad spend return on investment
- Preparing reports on the performance of marketing campaigns
- Using analytics software to identify customer touchpoints and assess end-to-end customer experience across a range of digital channels
- Experience in Regional/multi-country or global stakeholder management and delivering complex digital marketing projects.
- Commercially focused with an ability to balance commercial outcomes and customer needs.
- Highly effective at working across specialist teams to deliver key programmes of work.
- Self-starter, with the ability to self-manage; ability to work under pressure and to deliver a high quality product within a tight time frame.
- Excellent work ethic and leadership skills
- Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written
In addition, ideally you would speak a second language from the Asia region
