**Your new company**

Our client is one of the largest Asian banks and is looking for an experienced VP of Trade product Management to bring innovation and digitisation in Trade Products and executing the strategy across Asia and Oceania region.

**Your new role**
- The incumbent will be responsible for driving the Trade Product agenda in the regions (for the products under the direct responsibility of this role) including Product Strategy, commercialization, execution and ensuring that the products are fit for purpose.
- This role is pivotal to growing and managing the Trade Products in the region. The incumbent will work with the sales teams as well as the RMs across Asia Oceania to understand the key client needs and market development.
- The incumbent will be responsible for building and managing for all non-IT related product requirements and will also work with internal stakeholder like Legal team, Compliance team, Credit Risk team, Trade Product Development team in countries to ensure that the product is fit for purpose.
- Responsible to ensure the commercialisation of Trade products across the region. Regular interaction with RMs and Sales teams to ensure that the Trade products are well understood and the RMs and sales are able sell the product and grow the business.
- Responsible for growing the Products (indirect) P&L through active commercialisation of Trade Products.
- Responsible for the Trade Product Profits including that RoRA thresholds are being met.
- Work with FX and Cash teams to ensure cross-sell of FX and Cash along with Trade through product bundling and structuring. Manage the team effectively and build talent for the Bank.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- At least 7 years of Banking experience with majority in Trade Finance
- Trade Product Management experience in an international bank is highly desirable, good commercialisation experience advantageous.
- Graduate, post graduate degree would be an advantage
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation including using influencing skill to drive business Bias for action and ability to get things done; Perseverant, Analytical and ability to manage ambiguity.
