Middleware and Master Data Operations

**1. Strategic Planning and Governance**:

- Develop and implement the organization’s integration strategy, aligned with business goals and priorities.
- Establish robust governance frameworks for interface cataloging, master data management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead the design and adoption of modern enterprise integration architectures to support digital transformation initiatives.

**2. Platform Lifecycle & Governance**:

- Monitor operational health of the middleware platform.
- Work with the relevant partner to ensure the right-sizing based on performance requirements and commercial considerations.
- Accountable for overall TCO of middleware solution, leading to rate-cards be published to the user/business.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives tied to platform performance, business adoption, and reduction of manual work.
- Collaborate with Data Platform on data governance integration and reporting.

**3. Program Management and Implementation**:

- Lead cross-functional programs encompassing integration, master data management, including defining program objectives, scope, and deliverables; monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to achieve goals.
- Ensure timely delivery of program milestones within constraints (budget, timeline, resource)
- Design and implement change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of integration and process.
- Engage stakeholders to validate the requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment.

**4. Team Leadership and Change Management**:

- Team Development: Apart from building and mentoring a high-performing team, the role is expected to lead a business-centric data engineers and analysts, to deliver good integration governance and practice.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability within the team.

**5. Integration Platform (Middleware) Product Ownership**:

- This role is the Product Owner for our B2B/A2A integration service; fully responsible for all matters relating to integration, providing a best-in-class solution/service to internal and external.
- In addition to leading a team of functional and technical developers, responsible for mapping and building as well as providing technical advisory and/or support, this is a fully hands-on role.
- Design of integration to ensure robust and scalable design and architecture, and providing a guide to the development team (in/out-source) in the mapping, development, and implementation.
- This role is responsible for ensuring performance standards are actively managed and achieved, including establishing performance metrics and holding the relevant party accountable to achieve the metrics.
- Own product roadmap for enterprise integration services (e.g., Boomi, Mulesoft).
- Define the Integration reference architecture for Ben Line and deliver integration products that are effective and fit for purpose.
- Ensure re-usability, observability, and API standards are applied across services.
- Lead backlog for any connector build, sync logic refinement, and integration health.
- Define the intake and prioritization process for business system integration.

**6. Others**:

- This role will manage all third-party vendors/service providers, including but not limited to software providers, cloud providers (Azure), including but not limited to regular cadence service review, quarterly business review.
- This role owns the service management process related to Integration as per the guidelines set by IT Operations & Service Management team.

**7. Master Data Operations & Synchronization (Phase 1 Lead)'**:

- Together with Data Platform & Engineering Head, to own the master data initiatives.
- Lead the operational lifecycle of master data sync - customer, principals, supplier, chart of accounts, etc.
- Own and enforce cross-system master data mapping logic and synchronization rules.
- Coordinate manual/automated matching, deduplication, and reconciliation efforts, bringing the business team knowledge and capability to a level of self-sufficiency in 12 months.
- Serve as the main support to Business Data Stewards for master data within the platform.
- Track gold record compliance and surface data quality issues for escalations.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Higher diploma or degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
- Certification in a middleware platform (e.g., Boomi, Mulesoft) and a data-related field.
- Certified Scrum or Agile will be advantageous.

**Skills**:

- 6 - 10 years of hands-on integration experience with either Boomi or Mulesoft.
- Hands-on experience with any MDM tooling and scripting/automation engine will be desirable.
- Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
- Analytical skills to analyze complex systems and data flow.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead a cross-functional team.
- Excellent communicator and stakeholder management skills
