Camp Leader

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, and inspiring **Camp Leader** to guide and manage a group of campers aged 4 to 12 during our upcoming holiday camp. You will be the heart of the camp, ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment while leading a team of facilitators. We typically manage a camp size of **20 to 30 children**, with a **staff-to-child ratio of 1:8** to ensure proper supervision and quality engagement.

**Administrative Tasks**:

- Conduct Sunday morning briefing.
- Create a WhatsApp group for facilitators.
- Book field trip location (if needed).
- Create an attendance sheet for campers.
- Print facilitator schedules and camper attendance.
- Update Camp Manager on the required number of buses and food.

**Managing WhatsApp Communication**:

- Add parents who are not yet in the group chat.
- Send daily messages to the parent group.
- Contact parents if a camper misbehaves or is injured

**Team Management**:

- Conduct morning and afternoon debriefs with facilitators.
- Plan and allocate roles for the facilitator schedule.
- Manage camper movement and make necessary decisions (e.g., wet weather, activity changes based on the camper environment).
- Oversee facilitator break periods to ensure they’re well-rested.

**Reporting**:

- Update the manager on logistics and any items to purchase by Wednesday.
- Provide weekly updates on the number of attendees and staff work schedules.

**Venue Management**:

- Ensure that venue is left better than it was (Cleanliness)
- Maintaining a good relationship with all the vendors/partners

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $2,200.00 - $3,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 per week
