- To design and independent review of design submissions of structural engineering works for assigned projects.
- Undertake structural analysis, calculations and prepare design sketches and drawings indicating arrangement and design intent for a variety of transportation structures.
- Involved in prestressed/post-tension concrete and steel structure design
- Conduct engineering assessments and evaluations related to existing structures and/or structural alternatives and prepare technical reports documenting the results.
- Liaise/coordinate with other disciplines/departments in preparation of reports and design packages for multi-disciplinary projects.
- Communicate with clients, sub consultants, approving agencies, etc. for purposes of obtaining design information, presenting design alternatives, and expediting approvals

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Recognized PE will be advantageous
- Minimum 7-10 years experience in hands-on design for Structural projects
- Familiar with prestressed/post-tensioned concrete and steel structure design
- Familiar with structure framing and element design including steel structural works
