Digital Technology (Group IT) organization comprises of functional chapters (Engineering, DevOps, Testing, Delivery management, Service Management, Architecture, SRE etc.). Agile squads are formed with cross functional teams with members drawn from multiple chapters. The key focus is on creating top-notch products and platforms that effectively engage Digital Customers at every touch-points in the Customer experience lifecycle. The squads not only build the product but are also accountable for the operational ‘run’ part as well.

**Responsibilities**

The Scrum master is the single point of contact and owner for a Build-Run team. The Scrum master requires an in-depth understanding of a continuous delivery model and will be responsible for managing around 4 to 5 value streams at any time. In this role the incumbent will work closely with Dir/Delivery Manager/Business to achieve required outcomes.

Business Value & Relationship Management (approximately 5% of time focused)
- Leads their team to provide successful digital solution deployments and ensures proper business value while maintaining high customer/partner satisfaction
- Provides review, oversight and approval for Digital works which includes projects, incremental enhancements and fix and maintenance jobs.
- Leads their team to influence and manage customer expectations, based on pre-define requirements and information collected
- Be the single point of contact for business and other IT domains

Delivery & Resource Management (approximately 65% of time focused)
- Guiding the team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
- Guiding the team on how to get the most of out self-organisation.
- Guiding the team on self-organising to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organisation and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organisation.
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
- Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
- Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.

People Management & Leadership (approximately 20% of time focused)
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, breaking down barriers for the team and both planning at a higher level and getting into the detail to make things happen when needed
- Communicate Singtel’s vision and drive Singtel’s strategies & priorities based on Singtel’s core values

Vendor Management (approximately 10% of time focused)
- Support, coach and enable partners to drive delivery excellence through customer satisfaction activities and behaviors
- IT Degree or equivalent
- Scrum master certification (CSM or PSM)
- Mn. 8 years’ experience, of which 2-3 years as a scrum master or agile coach
- Well versed in agile practices & methodologies
- Versatile with agile project management tool (Jira, Confluence)
- Familiar with DevOps practices & software development
