A multinational bank with a strong global footprint is expanding their Singapore office. Be part of a trailblazing pioneer team to set up their private banking operations in Singapore.

**Your new role**

New Account Setup & Customer Verification:

- Account Opening/Documentation: Handle the initiation and processing of new client account requests, ensuring all documentation meets internal standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Customer Verification: Perform comprehensive customer verification checks for both new and existing clients, ensuring adherence to anti-money laundering regulations and other banking standards.
- Document Management: Gather and validate necessary client documents, ensuring accurate maintenance and updates within the system.

Lending Operations:

- Credit Limit Management: Oversee the establishment and maintenance of credit limit facilities, ensuring timely updates to customer accounts.
- Loan Processing: Manage the processing of loan transactions, including disbursements and repayments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complies with internal policies.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Regularly review loan portfolios to ensure compliance with agreed terms and report any discrepancies or issues.

Remittance Operations:

- Payment Processing: Handle the processing of inbound and outbound payments for clients, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and settled promptly.
- Fixed Deposit Management: Manage fixed deposit transactions, including initiation, maturity, and renewal, ensuring all documentation and compliance with internal policies.
- Payment Inquiries: Address front office inquiries related to payments, including transaction statuses, discrepancies, and delays, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all remittance transactions comply with banking regulations and internal policies.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Degree or diploma holders.
- Minimum 5 years experience in either Account Opening/Documentation, Loan Operations, Remittance. A hybrid would be very much welcomed.
- Spoken and written Mandarin language skills are highly advantageous due to bank clients and stakeholders.
