Singapore SHANGRI-LA HOTEL LIMITED Full time

The Director of Operations is responsible for the daily Front Office operations and ensuring consistent adherence to the required service and product standards of the Hotel in order to meet with the expectations of the Hotel guests and visitors.

This multi-skilled role requires the Director of Operations to perform other additional tasks that may be assigned by the EAM- Rooms, as required.

To ensure work process and performance are in compliance with Company practices, policies, Shangri-La Experience and Service Standards.
- Collates and analyzes forecast from Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry and areas under Rooms Division.
- Reviews rationale with Dept/Section Heads.
- Collates and analyzes budget from Front Office Department.
- Reviews key assumptions.
- Reviews ATR and occupancy monthly.
- Develops and implements appropriate action plans.

**Requirements**:

- Takes pride in being a hotelier
- Preferably comes from a hotel-related education background
- Preferably has relevant experience with an International 5* Hotel Group
- Is self-driven, goal-oriented, willing to challenge the status quo
- Upholds professional values, ethics and integrity at all times
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Demonstrated leadership competencies
- Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
