Position**:TECHNICAL MANAGER
**Responsibilities**:
Overall Person in charge for the Technical department.
Organize, co-ordinate and delegate technical tasks of the technical department.
Monitor all vessel’s technical activities and ensuring monthly Planned Maintenance System are analysed.
Maintain, drive, supervise and implement robust technical standards, systems and processes
Coordinate and provide support for dry-docking, overhauling, maintenance, and surveys.
Provide support to ensure vessel compliance on all technical, class & flagstate requirements.
Ensure proper up to date records are prepared during and on completion of dry-docking and repairs for actual and anticipated expenditure as well as quality of the works and products involved.
Work together with Operations, Purchasing, Accounts, and Crewing and HSE departments on day to day basis to ensure full operations of the Fleet
**Qualifications and Education**:
Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineer, Chief Engineer License or Master Mariner
Extensive technical and/or Marine Engineering know-how
Managerial experience
Personnel management skills
Ability in coordinating activities
Good knowledge of computer and information systems

The Technical Manager has the authority as directed by the Operations Director to act and make the necessary decision in all technical matters related to his functions and responsibilities
