**AVP MICE (Sales & Operations) position. Singapore based role. Hospitality - MiCE industry. Regional scope.**

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented MICE expert for an **AVP MICE of Sales and Operations** position based in Singapore. Our client is a leading property developer and hospitality operator. This exciting tourism and new attraction project features an exhibition and convention center within the township project.

Working directly with the Head of Hospitality, the **AVP MICE (Sales and Operations)** will play a crucial role in the project’s pre-opening phase and drive sales, ensuring smooth operations specifically for the MICE segment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Generate leads, drive new business and growth.
- Drive revenue and occupancy, develop winning sales strategies and exceed revenue goals.
- Cultivate client loyalty, build strong relationships with clients and ensure repeat business.
- Craft winning sales proposals, tailor presentations showcasing unique offerings and customize proposals for each client's needs.
- Negotiate and secure deals, secure profitable contracts that meet client needs and budgets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity.
- Track and optimize performance, maintain sales records, generate reports, and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead pre-opening and operations, ensure a smooth pre-opening and lead all teams for successful event execution and profitability.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Bachelor's in business, Marketing, Hospitality (or similar field)
- Proven MICE sales record exceeding targets based in Singapore or around the region
- Deep MICE industry knowledge (trends, players, best practices)
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with sourcing expertise for mid-scale events (concerts, car shows)
- Network of event management companies, DMCs, wedding planners, MNCs
- Excellent organization, time management, and ability to meet deadlines
- Pre-opening and convention center operations experience (banquets/events a plus)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite & CRM software (if applicable)
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
