**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in coordinating the internal audit activities done by the outsourced service provider across the Group and be responsible for following up the audit action implementation status.
- Assist in preparing the periodic reports to the Audit Committee.
- Assist in the oversight of Groups risk management and conducting corporate investigations.
- Assist in conducting other internal control measures, and continuously improve the internal control using the best practices.
- Advise management to improve and streamline the business processes to be more effective and efficient, and recommend the best practices, where relevant and applicable. May involve in business process improvement projects, as and when required.
- Support the collaboration of three lines of defence across the Group.
- Maintain a strong rapport and collaborative relationship with management to mitigate key risks within the Group.
- Assist in carrying out ad-hoc projects or assignments as requested by C-suites and/or Board.
- Assist in conducting periodic face-to-face training/ workshop or computer-based training on GRC topics to other functions (Group and Business Unit level).

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting and/or professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA or CPA). Additional certification in Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Risk Manager, Six Sigma would be an added advantage.
- At least 5 years of either external or internal audit, and risk management, internal control/business advisory related experiences.
- Experience in maritime & offshore industry, and with marine insurance knowledge preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the integrated internal control framework (COSO), accounting and internal audit standards.
- Strong business writing skill.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skill.
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated strategic and critical thinking with leadership, organizational, analytical and prioritization skill.
- Passion for value-add by helping management to solve the key problems for the Group.
