The position is a member and key enabler to the success of Asia Supply Chain & Logistics Centre of Excellence teams (namely, [1] (Bulk Distribution) Operations & Technical Support, [2] Packaged and Specialty Gases Engineering & Operations, [3] Process & Tools, [4] Digital Transformation), and their equivalents in Europe/Africa/ME/Americas. A self-starter who is skilled in change management, the position delivers results through Asian sub-region Supply Chain Execution teams, often with collaboration with Global/Regional Support Functions (EH&S, Production, Procurement, Customer Service and Logistics, IT) and Business Sales & Marketing/Operations teams.

This is a key position for the Asia region (covering China, Korea, Taiwan, South-East Asia) that is accountable for planning, driving, and delivering innovation and sustainability projects to create the most competitive supply chain. Key responsibilities include:
Innovation

1. Build smart Supply Chain Control Tower(s) that translates data to insights, and insight to value-driven decisions, that helps to improve Safety, Reliability/Quality, Productivity/Profitability and Sustainability/Growth. The ultimate Supply Chain Control Tower is one that integrates visibility of Plan, Source, Make, Store, Deliver, Return steps and enables good quality Commercial solutions.

2. Promote cross-functional/cross-regional collaborative thinking to promote commercial innovation. Create innovative goals to encourage creative thinking and breakthrough in organisational effectiveness.

3. Manage projects, programmes or events in a manner that demonstrate Care, Collaborate, Coach, Compete, Communicate, yet embracing Data, Digitalisation, Technology, Automation

4. Support respective Asia Supply Chain Technical Leads to develop and roll-out Supply Chain Professional (including frontline) training content and programme, by using digital aids and creative methods to upscale and energise Supply Chain community.

Sustainability

5. Develop a Roadmap and drive Supply Chain Net-Zero opportunities to reduce “Third by 30” for Scope 1, 2 and 3 Carbon emissions.

6. Perform as Asia Supply Chain Focal point for intelligence and advocacy (where relevant) for Sustainability agenda [ref: Supply chain sustainability - Wikipedia], including H2 for Mobility.

7. Perform as Business Opportunity Manager / Project Manager for (small to medium sized) Carbon Reduction projects.

8. Support respective Asia Supply Chain Technical Leads to develop Technical/Professional competency framework and Career Ladder. Harmonise this with other regions and within Asia.

9. Support Supply Chain community to enhance skills for commercial innovation, supply chain value creation, which is necessary to support the company to thrive in the Energy Transition, while making it a Great Place to Work.
