- Process and materials flows (VSM)
- Primary focus on Processes improvement (Safety Focus)
- Lead Kaizen activities in Packaging
- Responsible to conduct Time study, line balancing and updating Packaging routing to Engineering department.
- Leading Packaging team on Quality improvement projects and root cause analysis (5 Why methodology)
- Co-ordinate with vendors on ECN (Engineering Change) on packaging materials schedule, packaging improvement from start to full implementation.
- Responsible for Machine/Equipment Trouble shooting and improvement eg. Vision System etc.
- Responsible for all New Product Introduction in Packaging including but not limited to shopfloor layout, packaging/ sub-assembly processes, establishing material and information flo.w
- Responsible for Jig/fixtures design and material studies/ selection.
- Preferably with packaging experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment with highly complex product range.
- Responsible to conduct training to production staffs on new/ improved processes (Knowledge transfer).
