You will be part of the team that digital connects new and existing Cell and Gene Therapy workflows with an overall control system that provides customers with a streamlined process to develop cell therapies in the laboratories. Your work will provide the flexibility required for cell therapy developers to not only process the incoming cells (including gene modification) but also ensure the cell therapies are safe and effective.

**What will you do?**
- Work with R&D and Product management team to design, develop new software automation products that integrate with Thermo Fisher instruments
- Lead software development projects and be able to run numerous projects
- Support Cell and Gene Therapy system verification and validation
- Provide software support to other groups within the organization
- Investigate, diagnose and provide fixes for software product bugs
- Write Knowledge Based Articles and design documentation for software products
- Accurately assess project risks associated with development activities
- Accurately assess work efforts required to implement solutions
- Support customization project quotation and implementation
- Travels expected

**How will you get there?**

**Education**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Sciences

**Experience**
- 3 years and above experience in Emerson DeltaV design and programming
- Experience in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industries preferred

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Emerson DeltaV design and programming (Batch preferred)
- Control System Architectures & network system architecture
- cGMP process and requirements for software development
- Preferably with Knowledge of Cell and Gene Therapy
- Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 is added advantage
- Knowledge of OPC UA is preferred
- Excellent team work and collaboration skills
- Highly effective verbal and written skills, including technical writing
