The Private Bank Global Event Team partners with the Business to deliver consistent, high-touch, distinctive client experiences. Our events range from signature global events to small intimate programs, with a focus on new client acquisition, deepening relationships, increasing flows, whilst building our brand and adhering to global standards.

The global Events Team is a Centre of Excellence and together with the Firm-wide Events team report to the Office of the Chairman.

The role is based in Singapore, reporting directly to the Head of Asia Private Bank Events in Hong Kong.

**Overview**:
The Event Manager is a key integral component of the PB ASIA events team and will assist in all aspects of client event activities. The main responsibility of the role is to manage client event activities from conception to execution whilst following and adhering to the Wealth Management controls, policies and procedures governing such activities. The event manager will primarily focus on markets within the PB ASIA region but can be involved in large events targeting a global client base. The job demands interaction with colleagues on the ASIA event team, Global event team, marketing team, PB ASIA market managers, bankers and product partners. The event team’s goals are to help PB ASIA markets increase client business/deepen existing client relationships, create and drive efficiencies for all internal partners and maintain J.P. Morgan brand standard in all events. The role can at times be a highly pressurised, demanding accuracy, long hours and regional travel.

**Main Duties**:

- Understand target audiences and assist teams to develop an event strategy that supports business goals
- Collaborate with teammates, global marketing partners and the business to assist on idea generation, overall event management and data analysis.
- Plan and deliver digital events from concept to execution, including identifying the right format / platform for the event, engaging and managing internal and external providers.
- Maintain event calendar and attendee tracking information
- Solely responsible for end to end event management of varied events across the region including, roadshows, client events and conferences
- Aggressively manage event budgets
- Sourcing and negotiating with venues, suppliers, and ordering gifts and merchandise for events
- Research venues and suppliers maintaining and updating the database of vendors/venues per country that fall within the PB standard
- Liaise with other J.P. Morgan lines of business in order to leverage and consolidate ideas, hospitality requests, shared resources and cross sell event opportunities.
- Management of lists and status reports for client events and global programs (nomination lists, attendee lists, client briefings and rooming lists). Working with partners in compliance, supervisory management and data privacy to appropriately manage sensitive client data
- Participate in weekly team meetings, drive operational efficiencies and contribute with new ideas
- Event administrative responsibilities (production of invitations, nametags, place and table seating cards, menu cards as well as collation of marketing collateral for the events)
- On site event delivery with travel throughout the Asia region with possible opportunities to travel outside the region.
**Skills required**:

- At least a Bachelor Degree in any discipline
- A minimum of 7 years prior experience in event management related activities; ideally in the corporate financial sector
- Must think strategically and creatively; identifies problems and offer strategic & creative solutions
- Must be able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines within a fast paced environment
- Must be able to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Previous knowledge/experience of creating and delivering digital events and conferences.
- A good working knowledge of different suppliers and services available digitally.
- Ability to understand and share developments whilst bearing in mind the Private Bank’s policies, procedures and controls
- Prior experience in event execution, data and budget management
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability prioritise workloads to meet internal and external client demands
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communications skills
- Alongside fluent English, proficiency in Mandarin is a plus as the job holder is required to liaise with stakeholders from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
