JR42785 Intern - MSB Cost

Micron is seeking for a creative Cost Program Management Intern to improve our drive towards Cost Excellence and Competitiveness. This position is part of our “internal consulting” team of Cost program managers tasked with demonstrating advanced modeling, technology and process innovations to improve how we manage Micron’s spends.

**Project Assignment**

**Deliverables**
- Complete Micron internal Power BI training class
- If time allows, to get trained in Microsoft Power BI training classes as well
- Create role level access for Power BI spends report
- Maintain and improve on the current spends control report
- Provide Monthly Department performance report
- Analyze spends performance for each department for gaps and areas of improvements needed
- Create additional reports to identify areas with spends performance issues
- Work with area champions to complete their recovery actions

**Key Skills and Competencies**
- MS Office Excel knowledge (i.e. knows how to organize data into pivot table, vlookup)
- Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Strong systems and critical thinking capabilities
- Highly self-motivated and outcome oriented
- Ability to learn quickly
- Having experience in creation of reports in Power Bi/Tableau or similar visualization tools is a plus

**Education and Professional Experience Required**
- Ongoing Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Accountancy is preferred
- Knowledge of Programming/SQL codes is a plus
