Vice President of Product

is an all-in-one e-commerce solution that allows companies to sell their products directly to consumers globally through their own, highly customised online shops. Lingble is a technology solutions provider and we develop and manage the frontend (e-commerce websites), admin panel (for the partners to manage their e-commerce website) (“**Lingble Link**”) and the backend. We work with some of the most important fashion brands in Japan, as well as brands that sell exciting consumer goods in other industries who want to expand their business outside of Japan through e-commerce. We are growing fast and are very excited about what we are doing in Japan and the rest of the world. At Lingble, we look for talent worldwide. We are looking for someone who has experience in managing the development of complex technology projects in e-commerce. The Vice President of Product will be the manager of the development of Lingble Link (our recently launched next generation platform) and the entire product roadmap. Lingble 2.0 is a platform which connects the frontend with the backend where both Lingble and its partners can easily and intuitively manage their e-commerce website, including orders, inventory management, fulfilment, products, customer management, pricing etc. We are rolling out Lingble 2.0 in phases and would like to work with someone who is able to manage and prioritise the different functionalities of the Lingble 2.0 platform for development and its on-going improvement and innovation.

The Vice President of Product is responsible for the product planning and execution of Lingble 2.0, including: gathering and prioritising product and partner requirements, defining functionality logic, and working closely with the executive team, the engineering team, UX/UI designers and other business departments within Lingble to ensure that the functions, goals and project timelines are met. The Vice President of Product would be reporting directly to the COO and CTO.

**Requirements**:

- An experienced Product Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in that role or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of various e-commerce platforms, including their functionalities and features, and able to identify trends and opportunities in the e-commerce space.
- You can work and liaise across multiple business units, including working with both technical and non technical staff.
- You have familiarity with JIRA and Confluence, or other similar project management and software management tools.
- You have an understanding of business processes, specifically in the e-commerce and logistics domains.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You speak Japanese and English fluently.

**What You Will Do at Lingble**
- Understand and refine the logic behind our flagship e-commerce and logistics platform.
- Gather information based on user experience and then prioritise the required functionalities based on market requirements and resources.
- Work with UX/UI experts in the creation and refinement of wireframes.
- Liaise with the management of multiple workstreams in the technology area, including testing and quality assurance, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring that work is carried out to an acceptable standard.
- Define the product roadmap, and determine strategies for iterative development and product launches.
- Work with the scrum team to ensure that the sprint planning process aligns with the roadmap that you have defined.
- Provide a point of contact between the Business team and the Technical team, including attending and facilitating regular catch up meetings between the teams.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
