**Position summary statement**:
The incumbent is responsible to oversee the team of linen and uniform attendants towards achieving the operational objectives while ensuring that the linen department operational department standards are met

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Manage overall daily operations of the Linen Room.
- Ensure quality controls are in place for all linen processes, rejecting any exceptions.
- Assist the Assistant Housekeeper on his/her day daily duties during his/her absence.
- Ensure linen and laundry supplies are ordered and controlled in line with hotel business.
- Ensure a clean and tidy linen room at all times and report to the management if any items have been damaged (linen as well as uniforms).
- Ensure that linen and uniforms are properly stored and recorded.
- Ensure that the proper procedure is followed when linen or uniform needs to be discarded.
- Ensure that all uniforms are ready for special events as well as for any seasonal events.
- Receive records and oversee sorting of clean uniform and arrange them properly on the conveyor system.
- Take linen which is spotted out and place separate for re-washing or special treatments.
- Check all uniform for any loose buttons and hems and give to the tailor for mending.
- Attends and participates in in-service education classes, on-the-job training programs, etc.
- Assists in standardizing the method in which laundry tasks will be performed.
- Address linen & laundry related issues efficiently and effectively.
- Responsible for proper running of equipment and proper amounts of chemicals.
- Be able to carry out quarterly inventory based on individual department - Rooms, Spa, F&B outlets etc,
- Ensure daily summary of linen in-out reports are recorded accurately
- To ensure monthly summary of linen and uniforms are accurately recorded and compiled for submission
- Able to provide training to new comers/trainee on how to operate RFID conveyor system as well as MICRO posting system
- To perform daily linen count with contracted runners and ensure that soiled linen numbers are accurately captured in the delivery/collection order
- Able to carry out registration of uniforms in the RFID system for new associates.
- Performs other duties as assigned and able to carry out any other reasonable task set by the hotels management.

**Salary**: $2,100.00 - $2,940.00 per month
