**Job Description**:
Duty and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)

Design and Construction Stage:

- Review and manage design fall pipe rock installation barge
- Technical procurement of fall pipe rock installation equipment
- Project management of on-going rock installation barge construction project
- In bidding & construction stage, prepare the technical project documentation (including risk assessments) according to the project, in compliance with the customer requirements.
- Review project estimates for subsea rock operations and material quantities.
- When the entire scope is prepared and assessed you will take care of a thorough handover to the offshore vessel crew

Operation Stage:

- Follow the day-to-day operations during the execution of the works and provide help in case of technical problems.
- Checking document control registers to be sure that work instructions, working methods and drawings have been issued.
- Perform evaluations and analyses on the performance of the execution in caparison between estimated and actual status;
- Communicate with different clients on a regular basis to keep them informed;
- Prepare and deliver final installation reports according to client requirements with precise project information.
- Review and deliver technical as-built data to customer. If required prepare a final cost status of the project.

**Requirements**:
In the role of Project Engineer, you require excellent communication skills. We need you to be a proactive person who dares to take decisions independently and you need to be able to work in project teams. It is important that you are not afraid to ask for feedback when applicable.

Other requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or civil engineering, preferably in Offshore Engineering or Maritime Infrastructure;
- A minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience, preferably in the offshore industry;
- Preferrable to have experience in port construction, reclamation or subsea pipe laying;
- Proficiency in English is required for both written and spoken, Chinese is an advantage;
- You are an analytical thinker, driven by curiosity to get to the bottom of things and solve a problem or to find an answer;
- Being able to travel on regular basis to vessels, project locations and clients locations (in
- and outside Singapore or Malaysia).
- Disciplined and organized with a process-orientated approach
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background /Pre-Employment Screening Checks.
