Your essential function is to provide operational implementation and support, as well as the strategic development of the positioning and key messaging of the Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM), reporting to the Head of Strategic Marketing and Communications and General Secretary of SKM (GS).

**Job Description**:

- Supporting the General Secretary and related SKM Spokesperson with detailed briefings and support for media interviews, including drafting press releases, and speeches, as well as crafting quotes and soundbites.
- Working with the Head of SMC, you will drive the development and execution of effective communication strategies to create public awareness of acts of kindness and influence and raise the standards of behaviour and responsibility
- Assist in & monitor consumer insight research through 3rd-party research agencies, and where applicable
- Provide the Head of SMC with research in the area of kindness in multi-disciplinary workstreams when required.
- Oversee the selection and appointment of vendors/agencies and support the SMC team's activities for the entire financial year
- Develop and maintain the organization’s image (SKM & Singa marks) and position and ensure brand consistency across all campaigns and platforms
- Monitor the allocated media budget to ensure financial prudence.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- Degree in Public Relations, Media, Journalism, Mass Communications, Hospitality, or other relevant fields with min 2 years of relevant working experience
- Good understanding of Singapore media landscape, create strategic communications, manage and build relationships with media partners
- Good understanding of digital marketing and social media best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent project, campaign, event, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to pivot in an ambiguous, fast-moving work environment and maintain a positive learning attitude
- Personal interest and disposition to kindness.
