**Senior Consultant - Claims Advocacy**

**What can you expect?**

This will be an exceptional opportunity to collaborate and work alongside a highly motivated, well established and professional claims advocacy team of Marsh Singapore. We are looking for a claims advocate who is specialised in complex property damage claims, with background in loss adjusting or engineering. **We will count on you to**:

- Provides coverage and claims strategy guidance to clients on claims with moderate coverage issues in order to assist with claims preparation
- Identifies appropriate policies and/or coverage's on moderately complex coverage issues and analyses notification against the same in order to provide solutions to clients against future risks.
- Drives claims process for clients, with supervision in order to ensure progress from notification through to closure.
- Monitors insurer response and engages with insurers and their professional advisers on moderately complex queries and policy coverage discussions in order to support smooth review of claims for clients.
- Drafts communication documents for clients, such as correspondence letters, claims calculations and reviews documents prepared by the clients in order to support the claims process of moderate complexity for clients.
- Analyses claims related data such as loss statistics, key trends, cost reduction opportunities and other data in order to facilitate development of action plans to manage client's total cost of risk.
- Interacts closely with individual CEs, Claims Advocacy colleagues and Claims Operations colleagues to provide feedback to the team in making the claims process smooth

**What you need to have**:

- Degree in Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in claims advocacy.
- Experience in Property & Casualty claims preferred.
- Prior background in loss adjusting or engineering roles.
- Attained minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent.
