Cylindrical & Surface Grinding Machinist

5.5 Days Work Week

Monday to Friday : 0830 - 1730

Saturday : 0830 - 1230

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate manual or semi-automatic grinding machines
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Perform surfaces / profile grinding and check wheel balancing.
- Measure and inspect workpieces using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometres, high gauge, dial indicators).
- Ensure high-quality surface finishes and maintain tight tolerances.
- Performs regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting of grinding equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop
- Work with the Supervisor on the job planning, delivery time, scheduling, machine.
- Any other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in Cylindrical & surface grinding or toolroom machining
- Strong knowledge of surface finishing techniques, flatness tolerances, and material characteristics.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.
- Team players with good work ethics and attention to details.
