**Job Description
- Review the completeness of the supporting documents attached in demurrage, AWRP, additional port costs and other claims filed by the owners/suppliers/buyers.
- Acknowledges the claims filed, record them in the DDF (Demurrage Database File) or in the Other Claims File.
- Calculates the demurrage costs of Petron-Chartered ships and files the demurrage claims to the suppliers/buyers after generating the demurrage claim reference number from the DDF. Ensure to update the DDF as the claims are filed and payments are made or received.
- Encoding of information in SAP for the AWRP and other claims.
- Prepares monthly summary reports of demurrage claims status for back-to-back shipments, non-Petron chartered ships.
- Other tasks assigned by the Operations Manager from time to time.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Engineering or Business (preferably)
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in handling claims in oil and gas trading operation shipments.
- Preferably have experience in logistics, shipping or any other related fields
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Preferably bilingual in English and Mandarin (In order to handle and negotiate with the Mandarin speaking counterparties in regards with the shipment operation)
- Highly organized, meticulous and able to multi-task
