Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
The scope of the Windows Server administration shall mínimally include the following:
(a) Operating systems;
(b) Application;
(c) Database;
(e) System configuration.

PERFORMANCE AND FAULT MANAGEMENT
monitor mínimally the following system parameters:
(a) CPU utilisation;
(b) Physical and virtual memory and swap space utilisation;
(c) Memory page scanning rate;
(d) Disk space utilisation, including the percentage of hard disk space left; and
(e) Errors generated in the system logs.

The Server Utilisation report shall mínimally include:
(a) CPU utilization and load average;
(b) Physical and virtual memory;
(c) Swap space utilization; and
(d) Disk Input/Output utilization.

WEB SERVER ADMINISTRATION
a) Manage web servers, listeners, services and network connectivity;
(c) Perform fault and performance management;
(d) Response to monitoring alerts and perform first-level troubleshooting when required;
(e) Review the web server logs for high-priority events and messages;
(f) Housekeeping of all web server log files;
(g) Manage and maintain the web server security settings, policy and authentication as specified by the Customer;
(h) Perform web server patch management in accordance with Part 2C Patch Management Requirements;
(i) Work with Customer and Customer-appointed Supplier in identifying web server related issues; and
(j) Document and maintain web server administration guides and SOPs.

APPLICATION SERVER ADMINISTRATION
(b) Manage connections to web servers, databases and other systems;
(c) Perform fault and performance management;
(d) Response to monitoring alerts and perform first-level troubleshooting when required;

DATABASE SERVER ADMINISTRATION
(a) Manage and monitor the database storage, database space utilisation, table extents and growth, and alert or report to the Customer on potential performance or capacity issues, or bottlenecks with recommendations;
(b) Setup and manage the users accounts, access rights, privileges, roles and profiles;
(c) Plan and perform database backup and recovery;
(d) Review all daily logs, database alerts, database export logs and scheduled job logs;
(e) Plan and schedule regular database housekeeping and maintenance activities necessary to keep the database in a healthy state and at optimal performance;
(f) Manage scripts and database object deployment;
(g) Review, propose and carry out database reorganisation, upgrades or necessary to meet target system throughput and performance;
(h) Perform fault and performance monitoring;
(i) Respond to monitoring alerts and perform first-level troubleshooting when required;
(j) Perform database patch management in accordance with Part 2C Patch Management Requirements;
(k) Work with Customer and Customer-appointed Supplier in identifying database related issues;
(l) Document and maintain database server administration guides and SOPs; and
(m) Perform annual database disaster recovery test on selected databases as determined by the Customer
