**Job Description & Requirements**

**Responsibilities**:

- 3 - 5 years working experiences in the construction industry with background in both consulting firms and contractor firms
- Familiar with Euro codes and structural and geotechnical software.
- Conduct design calculations complying with euro-codes, local codes of practices and project specifications.
- Check and verify temporary work designs submitted by sub-contractors.
- Analyse and interpret technical data to ensure that designs meet project requirements and specifications.
- Proficient in using Micro-station and Bentley software.
- Closely work with in-house drafting team and co-ordinate with interfacing MEICA contractors to prepare and review the shop drawings.
- Resolve design and construction issues as they arise during the project.
- Update, keep and maintain design submission records / trackers and design meeting / discussion minutes to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the required quality standards.
- Collaborating with other professionals, such as external PEs and specialists, etc., to ensure that project goals are met.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or master's degree recognised by PEB Singapore in Civil, Structural or in a related field;
- 3-5 years working experience with 5 years in large scale infrastructure projects
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willing to travel to Tuas Nexus Drive work site (pick up transport provided at Bedok and Boon Lay MRTs)
- Alternate Saturdays
