Job Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of product development, from sourcing for manufacturers to overseeing production and ensuring quality control. This role requires a keen understanding of the fashion industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with manufacturers and internal teams.

**Responsibilities**:
- Sourcing: Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers for raw materials, fabrics, trims, and accessories.- Product Development: Lead the development of new products from concept to production, ensuring alignment with brand vision, market trends, and quality standards.- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and negotiate pricing with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing while maintaining quality.- Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and resolving any issues that may arise.- Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the production process to ensure consistency and meet customer expectations.- Timeline Management: Coordinate production timelines and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of products while managing any potential delays or obstacles.- Collaboration: Work closely with design, merchandising, and production teams to translate creative concepts into feasible product designs and specifications.- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including safety, environmental, and ethical sourcing practices.

Pre-Requisites:
- Proven experience in sourcing and product development within the apparel or soft merchandise industry.- Strong knowledge of fabrications, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes.- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.- Understanding of sustainability and ethical sourcing practices is desirable.- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
