**Responsibilities**:

- Capable of independently conducting mechanical design in both 2D and 3D.
- Capable in reviewing equipment documentation.
- Assist the Section Project Lead with daily operations.
- Execute assigned mechanical tasks, ensuring quality and adherence to schedule.
- Review and provide advice on the project's design methods and standards.
- Familiar with class regulations, rules, products, and standards.
- Report on the project's daily metrics (man-hours, schedule, etc.).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure overall project progress.
- Provide feedback on professional design methods and standards.
- Train and guide other project mechanical engineers (AEs or draftsmen) to work effectively together.
- Study and resolve project issues related to mechanical responsibilities.
- Attend and report at project and section meetings.
- Complete assigned tasks for various project drawings or documents.
- Prepare and review HVAC calculations, specifications, and vendor drawings.
- Prepare and review HVAC 2D SLD/DLD designs and submissions.
- Prepare and review HVAC 3D models, as well as production and site-related drawings/support.
- Support the Project Section Lead with mechanical technical issues.
- Coordinate with shipyards, consultants, and vendors.
- Report to the Mechanical Project Section Lead/Mechanical Technical Lead.
- Handle projects including new builds, repairs, upgrades, and conversions.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of related work experience in the Machinery/ HVAC newbuilding design in the Marine/Offshore industry.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office, and AVEVA software.
- Knowledgeable about class rules and statutory requirements.
- Strong understanding of machinery and piping design.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Strong teamworking spirit.
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related field.
