**Research Assistant**:

- Job Req ID: 1301- Employee Category: Research- Department: Digital Learning OfficeCampusX is an initiative under the new Office of Digitial Learning of SUTD. It is set up to create a human-centric cyber-physical learning environment that focuses on the needs and experiences of students and instructors using data analytics and learning sciences. We are looking for a researcher to join our team in a new internal project that involves the development and testing of a new digital platform that will be closely integrated with SUTD's various undergraduate courses.

**Job Scope**:

- Hardware development and integration of photogrammetry stations at various scales
- Assist in the development of a backend for a digital content/asset management system.
- Assist in the development of an interactive, multiplayer, 3D environment in Unreal Engine
- Assist in conducting of user studies and collecting of data across campusX related projects.
- Participate in technical development activities across campusX related projects.
- Assist in coordinating project execution matters for campusX related projects.
- Assist in the integration and scaling up of campusX technology systems and tools, including organising technical demonstrations and briefing sessions to users to address user concerns.
- Participate in preparing project reports/updates/documentation and assist in preparing manuscripts, presentations etc for dissemination and publication.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals to seek grant funding.

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience with physical prototyping and fabrication (3D printing, laser cutting, wood working, etc)
- Experience with electronic prototyping and integration (Arduino, RaspberryPi, etc
- Experience with photogrammetry (RealityCapture, Meshroom, Apple RealityKit API, etc)
- Experience in backend and API development (Python, Django, REST APIs)
- Experience with 3D modelling software (Rhino3D, Blender, etc)
- Experience with 3D game engine (Unreal Engine)
- Experience with AR/VR hardware and software
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
