**Summary of the Role**

Yoga Movement’s Teachers are the face of the business. They are responsible not only for delivering high quality yoga classes in line with the teaching standards for all YM class types, but also representing the YM brand across their personal grooming, pre
- and post-class client relationships, and personal brand through social media and representation at events.

**Teaching (80%)**

Yoga Movement strives to develop the best teaching team in Asia. As part of this strategy, our brand promise ensures that no matter where in the world a YM class is delivered, it meets the brand standards and brand promise of a Yoga Movement class.

Teachers are expected to be well-versed in the YM class menu, and through internal trainings, be able to teach all class types. They will deliver each class type to brand, using class type guidelines in shaping their sequences, cues and pace of the class.

The Teaching team will also compile feedback given by clients and assist the Area Managers and Training & Academy Manager in ideating solutions for any areas of improvements.

**Personal Development (10%)**

We see teaching as a never-ending learning journey, and as such, look for our team members to pursue professional growth through attendance of training courses, internal and/or external. Teachers should endeavour to attend at least 3-4 internally scheduled trainings per year, alongside any other external trainings they choose to attend in their own time. These training courses will ensure that teachers are equipped to teach all class types at Yoga Movement, as well as develop additional knowledge of both hard and soft skills help to bolster their competencies as a teacher.

In addition, the class schedule regularly incorporates Specialty Classes to drive clients’ interest and attendance. Teachers are encouraged to contribute at least 6 pop-up classes annually toward this schedule.

**Team (10%)**

Being a team player is crucial in this role. As a member of the YM team, we foster a sense of community and collaboration. As our key representative of the brand in the studios, we encourage the Teaching team to demonstrate these values in simple yet highly appreciated ways, including:

- Covering classes when teammates need assistance.
- Helping the Area Managers or colleagues whenever possible
- Being friendly and making an effort to get to know your teammates
- Attending team events such as Fam Flows, brand trainings or other community building opportunities.
- Attend a class at least once a week.
- Willingness in learning the YM class types while maintaining brand standards
- Adaptable to shaping sequences, cues, and pace according to class type guidelines Committed to continuous learning through internal and external trainings
- Demonstrates a collaborative and supportive attitude towards teammates
- Actively participates in team events and community-building activities
- Maintains a friendly demeanor and fosters camaraderie among team members

**Job Requirements**:

- Full-time position for teachers with at least 1 year teaching experience
- 200hr Yoga Teaching certificationDemonstrate understanding of the YM brand, class types and teaching style
