**Job Description
**Developing the Child Holistically**
- Drive the implementation of quality teaching and learning approaches at the cluster level
- Lead in designing, implementing and reviewing curricula and programmes within the cluster
- Lead in integrating the core values of early childhood education within curricula and programmes across the cluster
- Drive the implementation of strategies for quality learning environments across the cluster
- Guide cluster in enhancing caring, trusting and respectful relationships with children

**Collaborating with Families and Community**
- Establish a culture of professional collaboration with families and community stakeholders within the cluster

**Building Professional Capacity**
- Mentor lead teachers in the design and implementation of programmes in a specialised field
- Facilitate the establishment of plans and structures to engender a culture of mentoring within the cluster
- Establish a culture of continuous learning and professionalism
- Work closely with agencies to meet requirements.
- Mentor the teachers to facilitate collaborative approaches to learning, teaching and evaluation so as to raise performance standards and competencies.
- Provide leadership for setting overall goals for the school as a basis for curriculum objectives

**Building Organisational Capacity**
- Establish a culture of collaboration within the staff
- Develop self to maintain professional competence at senior management level

**Job Holder Requirements:
- Minimum Qualifications: Diploma in Pre-school Education - Teaching (DPE-T) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T), or it’s equivalent and, other qualifications as required by ECDA (if applicable).
- Able to arouse children’s interest in learning and sustain their curiosity to explore and learn through the creation of a safe and stimulating environment.
- Enjoy working with young children and am passionate about care and preschool education.
- Able to work with initiative and independently, and possess effective problem-solving skills
