Assistant Site Supervisor for Electrical Works

To supervise electrical & signaling installation, testing and commissioning works allocated by site supervisor and construction manager for SPLRT Ph3 Project.

Assist Supervision of Electrical and Signalling site works
- Assist and Support the site supervisor and construction manager in all aspects of works, including:

- Reviewing electrical and signalling system drawings and specifications
- Planning and scheduling work
- Assigning work to sub-contractors and overseeing their work.

Major work is power/control/Signal/FO cabling, equipment installation, testing and commissioning associated with LRT project.
- Ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting electrical problems.
- Developing reports and records
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Perform routine tasks, such as:

- Conducting pre-task Toolbox Meeting/ Safety briefings.
- Issuing work permits.
- Arranging LOTO
- Assisting QA/QC works
- Assisting testing and commissioning works
- Arranging materials and equipment.
- Arranging special tools etc
- Communicating effectively with the electrical site supervisor, project manager, other subcontractors, and inspectors.
- Communicating with various stake holders e.g. other contractors (System Wide Contractors), SBST, LTA.
- Any other ad-hoc works assigned by project manager and construction manager.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or ITE in Electrical and Electronics
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience at complex project site.
- LRT/MRT E&M project experience is added advantage.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
- Ability to work as a team with motivation, technical knowledge required for material controlling
- Proven ability to consistently get results and achieve time-sensitive goals
- Strong commitment to the job
- Ability to flexibly adapt to change and challenges, ability to work calmly under pressure and exercise good judgment.
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with multiple stakeholders including superiors, colleagues, contracted staff, and individuals both inside and outside the organization.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to operate computer programs under Windows such as: MS Office.
