**Regional Compliance Manager**

We're looking for a Regional Compliance Manager who will also be a geographic cluster lead for China, Taiwan, Malaysia.

**What the day will look like**
- Facilitate implementation of compliance policies within the region in conjunction with Group
- Follow up with countries on various deliverables to ensure policy implementation is completed in line with Group timelines. Facilitate exception to request where appropriate
- Facilitate and maintain the Group insider dealing list
- Monitor completion of various Groups related reports including compliance risk assessment, Compliance plan etc
- Perform preliminary quality assurance on various Group reports
- Support the completion and consolidation of various reports ahead of the Group reporting calls
- Support in performing some basic original quality assurance activities in line with the Group monitoring standard
- Maintain a log and the follow-up on all remedial actions identified as part of a Group reporting and monitoring activities and follow-up to ensure timely closure of all outstanding deliverables
- Follow-up and facilitate completion of all compliance related internal audit deliverables
- Maintain and support for the development of the Groupwide compliance risk assessment processes
- Develop and monitor the annual compliance plan, associated compliant data and analysis of management identify trends and systemic exposures.
- Report progress against plan, follow-up to ensure RCO and local governance committee approval is obtained in case of significant changes to the plan
- Support the further development and enhancement of the compliance operations, monitoring and oversight framework
- Organise and deliver functional projects within the defined scope and timeframe and any additional duties that may be allocated to you by the Company from time to time.
- Lead, Commercial Risk, IP Solutions, Cyber Solutions, Securities, Asia
- Lead, TP RWG, Cross Border, compliance with Sanctions requirements
- Supported implementation of various actions under, Project Venus and Project Mars
- Supported the business in rolling out key regional affinity programs
- Instrumental in conducting couple of material investigations in Asia in a very systematic and thorough manner
- Supported the business in rolling out key regional affinity programs

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**- Degree level qualification in business studies, accounting or related discipline- At least 8 years of compliance experience within the insurance/financial services industry- Regional/APAC compliance experience will be advantageous- Focused on attention to detail and accuracy and have strong analytic and problem-solving skills- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, drive, enthusiasm and commitment- Able to interact at all levels within a global and diverse organization- Self-starter, inquisitive, pragmatic nature- Collaboration focused, team player- Forward thinking and ability to deliver in a remote, fast paced, dynamic and matrixed organizational environment- Can-do, willing to learn & grow attitude- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Excellent people management skills
