The Strategic Project Manager will oversee and be accountable for the successful deliveries of various projects in EMC. The incumbent should be proactive in resolving business issues and driving innovation strategic to the business operations. He/she will work together with key stakeholders to identify project requirements, manage project timelines, identify risks and communicate regularly to all relevant parties. He/she will ensure that project objectives are met and delivered timely according to the agreed standards and timely

**Responsibilities**:

- Own and see through end-to-end diverse assigned projects to ensure successful delivery to the stakeholders.
- Develop and execute project plans to meet agreed milestones. This include requirements gathering, resource planning, budgeting, vendor/stakeholder management, risk identification/management, progress tracking and closure.
- Identify relevant parties and establish steering committees. Host project status meetings, review/feedback discussions to ensure that project timelines and deliveries are met according to project standards.
- Develop, monitor, update and report on project progress and milestone schedules to stakeholders and steering committees.
- Manage all project activities execution against agreed project scope and timeline.
- Manage the development and execution of all change management aspects resulting from project implementation.
- Document thorough post-project implementation evaluations and put in place improvements for future projects to centralise, streamline and simplify workflows.
- Vendor/stakeholder management ensuring that they are well informed of the project status, setting and handling expectations, high client engagement and meeting customer satisfaction.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in with minimum 6 years’ experience in a project management role. Certification in Project Management preferred.
- Knowledge of, and experience working in, the electricity market and/or renewables is desirable.
- Highly independent worker
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills to communicate to stakeholders of different levels.
