**ROLE SUMMARY & PROFILE**:
**Overview**

ING Financial Markets (FM) Client Solutions Group (CSG) is looking for a new member to join its multi-asset FM risk solution team. Focus will be on servicing APAC clients in the field of commodity derivatives. You will be working in the dealing room - which is a highly dynamic and international environment - and have client facing responsibilities.

Commodities is an integral and growing part of FM CSG alongside other asset classes such as Equity, non-flow Rates, and FX Options. The team functions as a linking pin between Sector Coverage bankers, Trading, Structuring, Execution and Origination Sales.

ING is active in energy, base and precious metals and is constantly exploring and developing new areas in the commodity space. We service ING’s client base, mainly corporates (typically led by Lending) and to a lesser extent Financial Institutions. The commodity team has global coverage with the European team at the center and smaller regional teams in APAC and the Americas.

You will be based in Singapore.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Originate, structure, and execute OTC commodity derivative transactions with clients where macro-economic news will directly impact your workflow
- Combine flow execution with non-flow and more complex activities
- On the flow side, you will be transacting across the value chain, for example: jet fuel trades with an airliner, pricing gold swaps for a gold producer, structure an oil cargo hedge for a commodity trader, or selling aluminum call options to an industrial consumer
- On the non-flow side, you will be structuring commodity linked funding solutions identifying opportunities across all facets of the commodity cycle.
- Build out the client base and maintain a day to day relationship with clients externally and with Sector Coverage bankers internally
- You are expected to make a strong contribution to the APAC commodities product budget
- Prepare relevant, tailored, and idea generative client pitch materials, market and roll-out the latest Commodity themes and initiatives
- Contribute to digitization and risk analytics initiatives

- Strong analytical skills, ability to translate client challenges into product solutions
- Experience in commodity sales and a proven track record of generating commodity revenues with corporate clients

**(C) Other important pre-requisites**:

- Experience as a Financial Markets professional, with a degree in economics, and/or CFA or equivalent bachelor/masters degree
- Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience for VP level and 10 years for Director level
- Solid knowledge of financial markets and related instruments / products is considered essential
- Language skills: fluent in English, both written and verbal
