The Barista cum Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a café setting.

This role involves preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

The Barista cum Cashier must have strong communication skills, be attentive to customer needs, and possess the ability to multitask effectively.

**[Job Responsibilities]
**_Customer Service: _**
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries regarding menu items.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering orders promptly and addressing any concerns or complaints.

**_Beverage Preparation and Latte Art: _**
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, espresso, and specialty drinks.
- Follow established recipes and standards to ensure consistent quality.
- Operate various equipment such as espresso machines, blenders, and coffee makers.
- Customize drinks based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Maintain knowledge of different coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Steam and texture milk to create a velvety texture for latte art.

**_Cashier Responsibilities: _**
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, or debit card transactions accurately.
- Process customer payments, issue receipts, and provide appropriate change.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile sales at the end of the shift.
- Upsell additional food or beverage items to increase sales revenue.
- Follow cash handling procedures and comply with all financial policies.

**_Cleaning and Organization: _**
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the café, including the dining area, counter, and beverage preparation areas.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and workstations regularly.
- Restock supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, and cups, as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

**_Teamwork and Collaboration: _**
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or pastries, when necessary.
- Support fellow team members during peak hours or when additional help is required.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to address any issues or concerns.

**[Requirements]**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a café or coffee shop setting.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and specialty coffee drinks is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
- Basic math skills for cash register operations.
