Senior Technical Security Program Manager

This role will be responsible for helping the Access Governance team achieve their goals, manage the product roadmap as a Product Owner, work strategically together, and remain as adaptable as possible in a fun, ever-changing environment. We’re always looking for ways to optimize.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish the Access Governance program and initiatives
- Prioritize the product backlog and establish the definition of done for each feature.
- Plan and manage a large program consisting of multiple complex projects. Drive delivery of project work through other project managers.
- Direct and be accountable for related change management.
- Step in to manage projects or aspects of projects within the programs you own as needed.
- Identify core problems or opportunities within business processes. Understand the root cause and impacts for the project and other teams. Communicate and collaborate with the right people to implement timely solutions.
- Help your project team or other more junior program and project managers to refine their individual project management skills and behaviors. Provide opportunities to others to help close their skill gaps
- Understand the program strategy and its benefits for the business area.
- Work with technical and business leadership to drive program and project planning. Establish overall program priorities and gain alignment on technical solutions.
- Conduct technical estimation of a given program for delivery velocity, capacity planning, budgeting and load leveling. Measure and report on the quality of program components and their associated benefits.
- As a servant leader, have a direct and positive impact on a wide number of people and teams; provide strategic opportunities to others to help close their skill gaps
- Conduct multi-year capacity planning and budgeting exercises for a given set of initiatives.
- Report program and project status for the IAM organization including monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Develop processes for planning resource requirements for programs and projects.
- Understand the relationships and impacts of programs and initiatives across the Security team and non-Security business units.
- Demonstrate understanding and effective execution of program strategy and execution within the Security domain.
- Provide recommendations on complex program dependencies that could affect the success of other initiatives. With a focus on innovation and best practices, help identify areas to enhance and improve processes.
- Drive adoption of new processes within the IAM team.

**Who You Are**:

- We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager for Access Governance to establish the Access Governance program roadmap and processes to enable the Access Governance team to become a leading security organization. This will include developing detailed product roadmaps, processes for program and project resource forecasting, creating and maintaining program/project dashboards, developing and delivering status reports, and establishing standard processes for communicating project and program status including quarterly business reviews.

**Requirements**:

- Highly adaptable in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment; proven track record of delivering while working independently.
- You have 5+ years experience working as a project manager with experience leading large and complex cross-functional projects in a technology company.
- You have 2+ years experience establishing and executing a product roadmap
- You have a broad understanding of Access Governance technology/systems that will be utilized in achieving business goals.
- You demonstrate technical aptitude to credibly communicate with software engineers, working with them to identify high-performance, scalable solutions.
- You design processes that ensure technology choices for systems and tools further Indeed's business goals.
- You naturally exude team-building, motivating, and conflict-resolving qualities.
- You are decisive - you gather the data and make and communicate informed, critical decisions quickly, with mínimal supervision.
- You have executed multi-team initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support.
