Bim Coordinator

**Black & White Engineering **(B&W) is a leading MEP design consultancy. Launched in the UAE in 2007, Black & White became an independent company in 2014 and is now a true global consultancy with offices in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.

Due to continued expansion of B&W Engineering, we are looking to recruit a **BIM Coordinator **to assist the development of BIM department and support the Global BIM Leader providing advice, assistance and leadership in the effective delivery of BIM in design and construction projects across the business.

As a fast-paced, growing business; this role will play a key role in leading and implementing the design and delivery process. The collective team will produce multi-disciplinary designs and associated deliverables in an integrated and holistic manner using appropriate modelling and analytical software.

Key responsibilities will also include
- BIM Coordinator for Singapore and International projects
- Ensuring appropriate project BIM standards and procedures are established and maintained in accordance with PAS/ISO standards, project group standards and best practice
- Assisting and implementing with BIM Execution Plans and ensuring all protocols are followed by all project staff
- Establishing and setting up of new project models in accordance with project standards
- Supporting the B&W BIM team in providing REVIT training
- Collaborating with senior staff to assist in defining deliverables schedules
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of MEP content libraries
- Modelling a range of services including but limited to mechanical pipework, ventilation, lighting, power, containment and drainage
- Coordinating services using REVIT and Navisworks
- Auditing compliance with BIM standards and procedures
- Collating and assessing projects BIM Procedures, making recommendation for use on further projects
- Conducting reviews of existing projects and providing recommendation to project team and establish and maintain best practice procedures and collaboration
- Managing delivery of own projects and supporting other project teams/offices with modelling and reviews
- Configuring and administering Common Data Environments (like BIM 360 Collaboration)
- Identifying, supporting and maximising the efficiency of the project team through the use of information technology tools and methods
- Supporting large or complex projects by acting as Information Manager
- Developing and engaging with wider B&W BIM community to ensure effective work flow processes, continual improvement efficiencies and skill development
- Min 5 years’ relevant experience of MEP Building Information Management on a variety of design and construction projects, including use of PAS/ISO suite of standards
- Experience in setting up and developing BIM department/function
- Extensive knowledge of MEP / multi-discipline coordination
- Advanced user in the production of Autocad & Revit MEP models
- Managing and developing a team (locally and internationally)
- Sound knowledge and experience of producing and implementing BIM execution plans
- Experience in the implementation of COBie
- Advanced user of Navisworks Manage and able to conduct visual audits and clash detection reports
- Extensive knowledge of a variety of BIM tools; Autodesk REVIT, Navisworks and BIM 360 / ACC
- Desirable experience of Information Management, Records Management of document control
- Client focussed, with exceptional relationship management experience
- Results orientated individual with proficient reporting skills both to management and clients
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing skills and ability to resolve conflict
- Familiarity in other CAD modelling/coordination software is a plus e.g. Microstation and Openplant
