As a Data Scientist, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of the Artificial Intelligence team in Singapore. This dynamic, fun, and start-up type of environment provides a vast potential to learn and work on emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, AI, Cloud, and Big Data. You will be working together with experienced software engineers and machine learning experts to deliver state-of-the-art intelligent services in our cloud ecosystem.

**THE ROLE**

As part of the Artificial Intelligence team, you will work together with a group of dedicated experts, including researchers, developers, DevOps engineers, and architects, to build the best machine learning pipelines for various use cases. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver solutions matching the performance of top-notch research prototypes. Your tasks include pushing the frontiers of what is possible in the area of machine learning to create new solutions. Explore, understand, and implement the most recent algorithms and approaches for supervised and unsupervised machine learning and deep learning.

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**

Required
- At least 2 years of experience in deep learning/machine learning/data science development projects
- Track record of developing novel learning algorithms or systems
- Proficient in handling multi-terabyte datasets in big data frameworks and experience with machine and deep learning software packages & libraries such as Caffe, Torch, Theano, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, DeepLearning4j; programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, Scala
- Ability to visualize data and present core insights clearly and compellingly and understand business processes and drive to solve business problems
- Strong desire to overcome obstacles and make your work benefit SAP's customers
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent written and communication skills in the English language
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics or equivalent fields with a strong mathematical background

Preferred
- Publication track record on deep learning/machine learning
- Post-Graduate specialization in AI or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent fields
