Locofy.ai is a fully remote (Singapore HQ) startup, building a low code development devtool platform to help accelerate developers & designers to launch their core web/mobile products 5-10x faster. **Position Overview**

Locofy.ai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Learning Engineer with 5+ years of experience in deploying scalable machine learning and AI solutions at fast-paced tech companies, with prior frontend/web engineering experience, preferably having worked at early-to-mid-stage startups. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI systems to extract valuable insights from large datasets and make useful predictions in the Locofy product. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality, scalable and efficient cutting-edge machine learning and AI solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preprocess and clean large datasets to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to gain insights into data characteristics, identify patterns, and uncover hidden relationships.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms to achieve high accuracy, scalability, and performance.
- Evaluate and benchmark different machine learning models to determine their effectiveness and suitability for specific tasks.
- Perform feature engineering and feature selection to enhance model performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into production systems and ensure seamless deployment.
- Monitor and analyze model performance and make necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in LLMs, AI models, machine learning techniques, frameworks, and libraries to continuously improve the team's capabilities.

**Qualifications**:

- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, deploying scalable machine learning and AI solutions at fast-paced tech companies, preferably early-to-mid-stage tech startups.
- ~2 Experience with frontend or full stack engineering will be crucial
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang, Javascript and experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace or scikit-learn.
- Strong knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud for developing and deploying machine learning models at scale.
