Gaia Environment specialises in providing sustainability solutions to the organisations.

We are looking for a new Business Development Executive to join our team The Business Development Executive will develop business relations regionally and globally with project owners. Your duties will include providing support in purchasing & sourcing carbon credits, developing and expanding the company's carbon credits portfolio by working with international project partners and providing market updates of project host countries to the team internally. Ideally, you should have knowledge of the environment market.

The position requires business development skills, networking skills and a functional understanding of sustainability and the carbon market.

Main Responsibilities
- Developing and expanding the company's carbon credit portfolio.
- Support in the purchase and sale of carbon credits.
- Conducting market research. Identify market trend and new business opportunities.

**Requirements**:

- Based in Singapore
- Holds a University Degree. Degrees with relevance to Sustainability or business will be advantageous.
- Competent at Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Independent and self motivated
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have excellent communications skills in verbal and written English. (Fluency in other languages as well would be advantageous).
- Experience in business development is preferred.
