The User Growth team plays a core role in the acquisition, activation, and retention of billions of users through our globally popular products such as TikTok, Resso, CapCut, Helo, etc. We are building platforms, leveraging data & ML models, and providing end-to-end solutions to power the global growth of ByteDance products. Typical growth projects include paid ads, referrals, notifications, etc.
We are looking for a talented User Growth Strategy data scientist leader to join ByteDance in Singapore. Working closely with the performance marketing team, strategy team and product team, you will evolve our approach to user growth globally. The user Growth Data Scientist will support the analysis of all user growth activities, with a focus on performance marketing, ROI, attribution and product.
**Responsibilities**:
- Own large-scale quantitative analysis from start to finish, including developing metrics, creating analytical frameworks and distilling complex results into clear concise insights
- Drive the strategic planning and execution of long-term growth plans through in-depth user growth data analysis, industry studies and learning of market trends
**Qualifications**:
- Master's degree in data science, computer science, math, engineering, statistics or related technical/quantitative fields
- 4-6 years of professional experience in an analytical role. In addition, experience in leading and managing.
- Deep knowledge and insight of user growth, not limited to paid ads growth, conversion attribution, preload, incentive etc.
- Ability to synthesise and communicate complex concepts and analysis in a coherent and comprehensive way.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative team player in cross-cultural and cross-functional environments. Good at collaborating with cross functional teams through data supported insights
