Associate Data Engineer

Unison Consulting is proud to introduce the Associate Data Engineer Program for Transformation (ADEPT), an extensive program designed to upskill and transform talented technologists in Singapore who are passionate about working on advanced data and analytics projects for our suite of clients.

**ADEPT Introduction**

ADEPT is specifically tailored to nurture aspiring local tech talent, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to become proficient data and analytics professionals. Participants in the program will receive comprehensive training in Python, SQL, Spark, Hadoop, and various Big Data technologies. Additionally, they will gain insights into crucial areas such as business analysis, Agile development, communication, and change management.

We are seeking 10 highly motivated engineers with expertise in data management, data visualization, analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to join our program. These individuals will have the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge data and analytics projects, catering to a diverse range of clients from various industries.

**Diverse Experience**: You will have the opportunity to work across various roles in the data pipeline, including data engineer, data visualization and analytics expert, advanced data analytics expert, and AI/ML expert. This exposure will enable you to develop a well-rounded skill set. We provide 3 months of extensive training.

**Extensive Client Portfolio**: Upon successful completion of the program, you will have the chance to work with a wide range of clients and explore different industries, allowing you to gain valuable industry-specific insights.

**Mentoring and Development**: As part of the program, you will receive mentoring from Unison Consulting's senior data architect experts, who will provide guidance and support to enhance your professional growth.

**Collaborative Learning**: ADEPT participants will have extensive collaboration and learning opportunities within Unison Consulting's data solutions practice, chapters, and guilds. These platforms offer deep insights into industry use-cases across various financial services organizations.

**Industry-Ready Projects**: Throughout the program, you will have the opportunity to develop industry-ready open-source frameworks and projects, showcasing your abilities and establishing your reputation as a skilled data and analytics professional.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related disciplines that possess an analytical and quantitative component from a reputable institution.
- **Experience**:Fresh graduate or less than 2 years of relevant working experience.

**Technical competency**:Basics in two or more of the following areas preferred:
- SQL knowledge
- Programming or scripting language (e.g. Python, R, Java)
- Data visualisation tool (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI)
- Distributed architectures (e.g. HDFS, Hive, Spark)
- **Adaptability and Continuous Learning**: The field of data engineering and analytics is ever-evolving. We expect our graduates to be adaptable and open to continuous learning.
- **Problem-Solving Mindset**: Your ability to break down complex problems and derive actionable insights will be highly valued.
- **Strong Collaboration and Communication Skills**: Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be vital.
