The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

This 13-week course is a compulsory undergraduate course. The course aims to equip students from various disciplines with essential digital skills and problem-solving techniques using computers. Students will get to learn tools for effective presentation, communication, and collaborative skills in teams. It emphasizes on Computational Thinking, Quantitative Reasoning and understanding Digital Ethics.

The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Going through all lectures/LAMS/tutorial materials and connecting the teaching materials used in all pre-class lectures/LAMS where relevant to the in-class tutorial discussion.
- Conducting tutorials and assessments for the assigned course.
- Using the final version of the course / tutorial materials provided by Course Coordinators. Instructors may however include additional materials.
- Grading course assignments (including presentations, tests, quizzes, exam scripts).
- Monitoring the attendance of students. Updating the Course Coordinators should there be habitual absentees.
- Moderating assignment grades, where necessary, per course policy or instructions.
- Working closely with the Course Coordinator(s) to handle student queries and other student matters (e.g. academic dishonesty) related to the course.
- Ensuring timely and accurate compilation, processing and entry of course marks, and to review and address students’ request for review of course results.
- Handling all course related matters as determined by Course Coordinator(s).
